The Rolex day date is also known as the President officially due to the name Rolex gave the bracelet but also due to the fact this has been the watch of choice of so many presidents and world leaders.
This 36mm 18ct yellow gold Rolex day date was manufactured in 1981 although having just been professionally overhauled including a full mechanical service on the automatic movement it could pass as a brand-new watch.
The classic champagne dial is simply decorated with baton hour markers and is instantly recognisable among any Rolex enthusiast the day wheel under 12 o’clock shows the day of the week in English and at three o’clock under the cyclops lens is the date of the month.
This example really does need to be seen to be believed and I honestly think it represents amazing value for money
