About this watch

The race to produce the world’s first automatic chronograph is well documented and despite other claims the Zenith El primero is regarded by many to have achieved that accolade in 1969, this watch bearing the same name and a much-improved movement  is a perfect tribute to its predecessor, presented in a very wearable 40mm stainless steel case .

The automatic cal 4021 39 jewel movement is visible through the cutaway section on the dial or through the sapphire crystal case back and its impossible not to appreciate the level of workmanship that goes into the 6 months it takes to manufacture this movement.

The watch features a seldom seen silver dial with feature engraving  along with the intricate cutaway for viewing the superb movement along with chronograph sub dial and a night and day sub dial at 6 o'clock .

The watch appears to be very well looked after and comes presented on a  black crocodile strap finished with a  steel deployment clasp.

This is a superb watch that represents incredible value for money.
