About this watch

I still enjoy appraising  watches that although they may not hold terrific monetary value can still tell a tale and this watch from over 70 years ago could certainly do that 

The watch ref 2445-6  is completely original and untouched, and the dual tone dial has aged to a show some patination as you would expect which adds to its character ,this is enhanced by the applied raised gold Arabic numerals and cross hair decoration 

The 33.5mm stainless gold capped  case is in remarkable condition and sits on nice down turned tear drop lugs 

The automatic or bumper  cal 351 movement  performs exactly as it should and is guaranteed for 12 months. The serial number of this piece dates the watch to c 1950
