About this watch

This stunning Dugena racing Chronograph is from one of Germany’s most famous watch makers, they came to the market in 1917 and are still making watches to this day, shooting to fame in the 1960’s and 1970’s with their range of innovative chronograph and dive watches.

This Valjoux 7734 powered chronograph is one of the most attractive Dugena Chronographs we have seen, the two tone multicolored dial looks remarkable and like the rest of the watch is in new old stock condition (although there are couple of light storage marks on the case).

The watch is hefty 39mm excluding the crown and pushers and wears extremely well, it has a great weight and wrist presence and just looks simply superb. The watch is presented on a new hand made rally band, which matches it perfectly and has just returned from service with Simon Freese watch makers, so comes with a full warranty and confidence that it has many years of trouble free wear ahead of it.

This really is a beautiful watch, it’s a real head turner and has that perfect blend of stand out character, wearable functionality without being too (unlike most modern chronographs) ‘in your face the last thing a vintage collector needs is a watch wearing them and not them wearing a watch!
