About this watch

Introduced in 1942 running on the famous manual winding Valjoux cal 72 movement inside its 35 mm stainless steel case The Heuer 2543 is a classic vintage chronograph .For me and I am pleased to say many others ,the most appealing colour scheme for these pieces is as on this example , Copper dial with blue printing on day, date and month  . The dial on this example is amazing. The military style hands have had the dangerous Radium removed and been expertly relumed to match the dial.
