The Club range was introduced by Jaeger during the late 60’s and like the dynamic range from Omega it was aimed a younger generation although unlike Omega Jaeger stayed more conservative in their approach ,as demonstrated by this excellent example .Although the 31mm solid 18 ct gold square shaped case is not common it could never be called radical.
This conservative approach may not have been a great success for Jaeger with modern younger clients in the seventies it does give us a great example today of Jaeger Le coultre do best in my opinion ,A classic gents vintage dress watch that today is very popular with either ladies or gents
This piece from 1972 has the added benefit of having the original papers correctly filled out and also comes with its original box, please not the hinge on the box is broken which is sadly the case with so many.
The watch is fitted to a later high-quality leather strap but still retains its original Jaeger 18 ct buckle (on its own selling for £300)
A lovely example of a solid gold dress watch from one of Switzerland’s most respected manufacturers
