One of the most highly prized of the "Dirty Dozen ", due in part to its scarcity, as only 6,000 were delivered. However Jaeger was the most expensive of the dozen purchased by the MOD for its men, as Jaeger wouldn't compromise on the build quality, clearly demonstrated when you open the case and see the stunning gilt Cal 479 movement .
This particular piece has survived in remarkable condition, with the 35 mm case showing very little signs of wear
As often happened, I believe the hands to be later MOD replacements but I really dont think that detracts from the overall desirability of this great piece of history.
