Mondia 200M vintage divers watch SOLD

This has to be the most unknown and under appreciated Blancpain derived divers watches ever made. Many people are familiar with the famous Blancpain Bathyscaphe but very few are familiar with derived watches, using deadstock mid cases from the same case manufacturers with bakelite bezels.

This example is in near perfect condition, the stainless steel case with Bakelite bezel is virtually flawless and never refinished, the dial and hands are original tritium and the wonderful grey/ brown dial is just stunning. The watch has been fully serviced and overhauled and retains its original and flawless Automatic 24 jewel movement. The watch is 36mm excluding the crown and wears extremely well, the watch is also presented on original tropic band, which like the watch is in remarkable and original condition and is super supple.

This really is a special special piece; it is not only extremely rare but is in stunning near new old stock condition.
