Omega 2846 ‘big logo’ automatic

This incredible and near new old stock Omega 2846 Seamaster automatic is the very watch used to inspire the recent omega Olympic edition Seamaster. These watches are becoming increasingly rare and finding one in this remarkable and unrestored condition is nigh on impossible.

The watch is presented with its original two tone gold applied logo dial , complimented with original radium hands, which have aged to a wonderful honey patina.

The watch is a very wearable 34.5mm excluding the crown and is presented on original period NOS pigskin band.

This is the rare ‘big logo’ case back, with a wonderful full size hippocampus on the rear of the watch, these case backs were only produced for 1year and so hard to find in any condition but very seldom seen as good as this .

A true collectors item and a very rare opportunity to buy a near perfect watch. It has just been fully serviced and overhauled and the calibre 501 movement (dating to circa 1958) is running extremely well.
