About this watch
This chronostop dates from 1970 as verified on the original Omega papers accompanying the watch .I have said many times in my opinion these pieces remain one of the best value sports watches of the period and to find them in this condition is becoming increasing difficult.
The 35 mm stainless steel case is in stunning condition and shows no sign that it is 50 years old. Equally stunning is the grey dial with silver batons featuring chequered flag tracking and sought after orange centre hand.
The glass still bears the omega logo as does the crown
The chrono function of the cal 865 movement works and resets exactly as it should.
The watch comes fitted to the original Omega steel mesh bracelet.
