The chronostop range was originally released to coincide with the Olympic games in Mexico in 1968 although this piece with the added date feature using the caliber 920 movement dates to 1969.
The grey dial sets off the distinctive orange second hand which is activated by the top pusher and used to time events up to one minute in duration such as sprinting events.
This example is completely original including dial, hands and even glass and the
34mm stainless steel case size means it wears nicely even now.
Fitted to a new Black leather strap and finished with an Omega stainless steel buckle this is possibly one of the best vintage sports watches available
