This early chronostop from circa 1967/68 is an remarkable condition and still has its original Omega tags with correct serial numbers.
The chrono function of the cal 865 movement works and resets exactly as it should .
The 35 mm stainless steel case is in stunning condition and shows no sign that it is 50 years old.Equally stunning is the grey dial with silver batons features chequered flag tracking and sought after orange centre hand. The glass still bears the omega logo as does the crown
Its remarkable to think that an Omega Speedmaster with an Orange hand would cost you over £15,000 if you could find an Ultraman ! and yet in my opinion these pieces remain one of the best value sports watches of the period .
This watch is carried on a quality leather strap and fitted with an Omega buckle
