The Omega Constellation watch range is one of the most well know watches in history, know for being Omegas highest performing and most accurate watches and built to the highest standards.
The stunning mid 1970’s F300 Constellation 198.0006 is one of the rare models of the F300 range, the F300 tuning fork movement where accurate to ten seconds per month when new, considerably more accurate than their fully mechanical brethren. The F300 movement is electromechanical, being a predominantly mechanical movement but running on a battery and tuning fork system as opposed to a traditional balance.
This 198.0006 is a very rare and desirable version, being the range topper of the F300 models, this is evident in the very high quality 35 mm stainless steel case and integral solid link stainless steel bracelet. The condition of the piece is near new old stock, it is in simply time warp condition and shows virtually no signs of wear.
A tremendous piece and a watch that can be worn and enjoyed every day, which you simply will not see another example of and if you did it almost certainly wont be accompanied by the correct Omega booklets all correctly numbered and the original sales receipt dated 1974 ,all kept in the original Omega branded envelope marked with the watch serial number .
