Omega Seamaster Cosmic 1969

The Omega Seamaster is one of the most iconic watches of all time, the name is associated with Omegas range of waterproof watches and over the last 75 years has been used on hundreds of models, including this stunning Seamaster Cosmic dress watch dating to circa 1969.

The watch is a rare front loading design, designed specifically for robustness and water resistance whilst still being slim and elegant. The watch is in near new condition and has been fully serviced and overhauled with a new Omega crystal.

The dial is the stand out feature of the watch, it is silver/ champagne and has a gorgeous cross hair design, reminiscent of the Omega Constellations of the period. The 35 mm (ex crown) case is in excellent original condition, and whilst quite modest in size when compared to modern watches, wears extremely well due to the large dial and limited bezel space.

The 550 family automatic movement is working perfectly and the watch is keeping excellent time. The watch is fitted with its original buckle and has had a correct period replacement lizard band fitted.

An excellent piece and a great all round watch, ideal for any occasion.
