Omega Early Automatic ref 2493-7 SOLD

This beautiful Omega automatic is substantial at 36 mm excluding the crown, it is made out of solid stainless steel with the same case as used in the famous Seamaster range of the period, in fact sharing the same reference (2493-7)

 The watch is in remarkable and unrestored condition, the case showing very little sign of age. The dial has a wonderful patina and is completely original and totally unrestored, right down to the original crown, dated from c 1949 I would imagine it could tell some amazing stories!

Original pieces like this one are becoming harder and harder to find, this is a truly honest watch which remains in absolutely stunning original condition, a great piece and a great conversation piece.
