Although the original Omega chronostop range was part of the Seamaster line up and launched in 1966 the following year,1967 Omega changed it to the Geneve model range and targeted it at the younger clientele who wanted a modern sporty looking watch at a sensible price
This seldom seen example, ref 146.012 from 1970 comes in the larger 42 mm round stainless-steel case with original stainless-steel bracelet.
The grey dial with outer dual tone racing track is set off with the feature orange chronostop centre second hand.
Inside the case runs the cal 930 manual wind movement only used in the chronostop range with date feature
