About this watch

From a time when a gentleman's watch spoke volumes about the man this is a real statement piece produced by Omega when they arguably were producing some of their finest dress watches.

This stunning example dates from c 1947/ 1948 and is one of the best kept 70 years old pieces I have seen for a long time.

The stainless steel jumbo case measures 38 mm which at the time was huge and wears superbly today and is in stunning condition showing remarkably little wear.

The movement is the extremely highly regarded 30 T2 PC. Omegas back bone for the next 30 years.

Without doubt for me the standout feature of this watch is the original dial finished in an unblemished Ivory and decorated with Gold arrow markers punctuated by the art deco style baguette markers at 3 and 9 and capped by the applied Omega mark and finished with the perfect seconds sub dial .

This is truthfully one of the nicest examples I have seen for a long time and completed by a dial configuration I doubt you will see again and definatley not in this condition.
