Omega has fulfilled the role of Official Timekeeper at the Olympic Games leading to a long-standing relationship that has spawned many different limited editions over the years. And this limited edition piece was designed to commemorate the 2018 winter Olympics .
Limited to 2018 pieces, this collectable timepiece in the colours of the South Korean flag is cased in 43.5mm stainless steel and features a polished blue ceramic dial and unidirectional bezel, uniquely blended with red rubber for the first 15 minutes. The Dial also features a date window, large luminous hour markers and hands made to be seen in all lights.
The screw-in caseback is engraved in blue with the words PLANET OCEAN and LIMITED EDITION, as well as the Limited Edition number. Transferred to the caseback's sapphire crystal are the words "PyeongChang 2018" and the Olympic Games logo.
The watch is fitted with a blue and red rubber strap with stainless steel folding clasp and is powered by the Omega co-axial master chronometer calibre 8900 automatic movement.
Originally purchased in July 2017, the watch comes protected by its manufacturers guarantee until July 2022. The watch comes supplied with the original inner presentation box and outer cardboard box, instruction manual, stainless steel link bracelet, pictogram card, international warranty card and master chronometer card.
