About this watch

Some watches I almost regard as fables you hear old collectors whisper in corners about what old jack had in his loft before the fire! Ok so I exaggerate but please don't think that when you look at this piece.

We know that in 1953 Omega delivered 5900 mark X1 pilots watches to the RAF fortunately many of these watches are available to collectors today ,however the vast majority of these are the so called Fat arrow with a circled t on the dial to indicate that the original radium dial has been stripped and replaced with the less radioactive tritium markers and hand infill  ,

The watch I am proud to share with you today is one of the very very few  completely original 1953 ck 2777 Cal 283 RAF pilots watches ,how many are left I honestly have no idea I personally know of three and you are looking at one of those

AT 37 mm these Pilots watches are very wearable and with this is sure to spark a conversion

Enjoy
