Please let me start by saying that I believe this to be an exceptional opportunity to purchase one of the finest examples of the earliest version of this model available any where in the world today .
Originally purchased by an RAF navigator in Borneo in 1964 and accompanied by the original bill of sale the watch case was then engraved on the case back as was often done by servicemen on there own property .When the owner returned to the Uk in 1965 he was obliged to declare the watch and paid the sum of £15.00 import duty and again this document is retained . a signed letter by the previous owner verifying this outstanding examples history will also accompany this stunning example
The watch its self is completely as it left the factory with all parts original to the watch and as this is a .63 version it would originally had a Swiss made no t dial which it has retained I have only ever seen one other completely untouched 105 003.63 with an original dial
The watch is also on its original 7912 bracelet and no 6 end links
This is a piece worthy of being in any serious collection
I have had the watch fully serviced by Omega expert Simon Freese
