About this watch

I am delighted to offer you what I believe is the best available Speedmaster transitional available today, The Speedmaster 145 022.68 was the first Speedmaster to feature Omegas new cal 861 movement whilst still retaining the DON bezel and dial featuring the applied Omega name plus several other traits from earlier Speedmaster’ s This configuration was only manufactured for one year late 1968 to  1969 and is very highly prized more so now than ever before as many have had the bezel removed.

With a stunning DON bezel like this selling on its own for such high values -circa £3000 unfortunately it is the first thing to disappear from most examples for sale ,If it doesn't have the bezel it is not a true transitional model

This piece is in great condition with dial, bezel, glass and hands all original and the case retains its crisp unpolished edges .

The movement is an early manual winding cal 861 with correct 26.5 million serial number and looks and functions like new.

This lovely watch comes in an original Omega box with outer protective box as well and is fitted to an original 1035 bracelet which is as new

Please be quick as these are just not around in this condition for long
