About this watch

The Speedmaster is one of the most iconic watches of all time, becoming famous for being chosen by NASA to equip all astronauts with. Speedmaster values have risen stratospherically over the last five years, certainly a trend set to continue as we approach the 50th anniversary of the first moon landings.

This 145.022 dates to 1971 which is during the period of the now famous moon landings. And is verified by the Official Omega extract of the archives which also confirms the correct movement number.

The watch is in great condition, , the dial is tremendous with gorgeous luminous material and a stunning patina. The watch is complete with correct original box, extract from the Omega archives and fitted to a new old stock Corfam strap finished with correct vintage Omega buckle.

This is a rare opportunity, so many of these Moon watches are over polished, or with damaged or poor dial and few have the original matching box and Omega archive document it truly is a great example.
