This beautiful piece dates to early 1950’s and the original owner of this would have been wearing a watch that was amongst the finest available. The square style 18ct gold case was unusual then as it still is and would surely have been a talking point.
The case measure 24mm wide excluding the crown and is 34mm deep so it wears extremely well and is in remarkable condition and as you can see on the images still retains the remains of the Patek Phillipe case back stickers an indication that this piece has seen little wear.
The Silver dial is finished with applied yellow gold baton hour markers and hands and features a subsidiary second’s dial at 6. O’clock
This stunning piece is fitted to a new vintage style quality tan leather strap and finished with the original 18ct gold buckle.
Even today this is a piece that demonstrates the quality of arguably Switzerland’s finest watch makers .
