About this watch

When it comes to finding great value chronographs from the 1960’s it can be very rewarding to look past the more obvious brands and look at some of those that despite making great watches at the time sadly failed to survive the quartz crisis that disseminated the watch manufacturers of the 1970’s. This Rodania manual winding chronograph is definitely one of those pieces that’s worth a second look.

The watch is in remarkable condition and at 37mm it wears very well.

The stainless-steel case has never been polished, and the silver dial is flawless and the Blue steel hands pick out the blue tachymeter scale running around the outer track.

The watch runs on the manual winding landeron movement that was the powerhouse of so many chronographs at the time.
