This is a lovely example of a 1973 Rolex Datejust ref 1601 made even more special by having the stunning silver linen finish sigma dial, the Greek sigma symbol used to denote the use of solid white gold hour markers and hands and fluted bezel
The 36 mm stainless steel Datejust is a classic and very desirable watch and never more so than with a highly prized sigma dial.
The Cal 1570 automatic movement is in equally good condition and runs perfectly having been recently serviced and is fully guaranteed for 12 months
The use of 18ct white gold on both the fluted bezel and also the baton hour markers combined with the silver lined dial ensures that this is a watch that offers great wrist presence
The serial number combines that this stunning watch was manufactured in 1973 making this possibly the perfect 50th birthday gift.
