The Rolex GMT Master II ref 16710 brought in some subtle changes when introduced in 1987 the most welcome was the slightly slimmer case profile, later changes would see different materials used to illuminate the hour markers, this example from 1996 is among the last to be seen with tritium lume ,a feature I like as it gives the watch a vintage feel while the lume changes colour over time.
The Pepsi bezel on this example has faded to give the watch a unique and very attractive appearance whilst under the Sapphire crystal sits the flawless black dial with now familiar white gold surrounds to the hour markers
The Automatic cal 3185 has been recently serviced and is covered by our 12 months guarantee.
The 40mm stainless steel case is in excellent condition and what makes this example even better is that at some point during a service 2000 it had the later solid end link oyster bracelet ref 93160 fitted which also has the submariner style extension in the clasp anyone who has had older hollow link oyster bracelets will know how these later solid end links wear much better.
