Rolex Oyster Date ref 6094

In this day and age its hard to find a vintage watch that can still surprise and yet the 6094 is an early Oyster date reference that has some surprising features that make it very collectable and yet it remains currently very affordable,

The 34 mm stainless steel case looks like many others of the time yet on closer investigation the lugs have pin holes on the 9 o’clock side but none on the 3 o’clock side and the Rolex super oyster crown is a non-screw type, a feature I cant recall seeing on any other oyster case. The case is correctly stamped Rolex and 6094

The dial is in amazing condition, all original and decorated with gold applied Coronet and hour markers finished with bamboo leaf hands and blued steel second hand.

Even the date wheel is uncommon being an all red display.

The watch dates to the early 1960’s and is fitted to a correct Rolex 6635 stretch bracelet date stamped 4/65, this is also in great condition with full stretch links still working
