Rolex Oyster Perpetual Solid 14ct Gold

Its no secret that my heart lies with vintage sports watches but even I cant help be amazed by the beauty of a high quality vintage dress watch and when I came across this amazing Rolex Oyster Precision in solid 14ct gold, I was delighted to buy it, the watch is simply as good as it gets and although the papers are dated 1974 it looks like it was made yesterday.

The 14ct gold hallmark is stamped on case ,inside the case back, bracelet ,end links and clasp and is  double signed by Rolex and B&S for Britton and sons who were based in Birmingham UK from 1855 until 1973 and like Denison and Shackleton manufactured cases and bracelets for Rolex in the UK during the period when import duties for manufactured gold pieces coming into the UK where so high it was common practice for the Swiss watch companies to have the cases and bracelets made in the destination country ,This practice also allowed for a much more varied designs of bracelets as seen in this exquisite hammered brick design ,highly polished and in perfect almost new condition and a perfect accompaniment for the 34 mm solid gold case.

The flawless gold dial is simply decorated with gold hour markers and baton hands

The automatic cal 1570 movement keeps perfect time and is fully guaranteed for 12 months

The bracelet max length is180mm and it has high security clasp and ladder fixing.

This is stunning solid gold Rolex and with a 34 mm case its perfect for either ladies or gentlemen.
