About this watch

Originally released in 1977 the 17000 Oysterquartz, was special not only because of its remarkable thermo-compensated quartz movement but also its remarkable case design with integral bracelet, a true design classic. These watches were produced to the highest standard and quality.

This particular example is more special than most, as it is the rare Bi-Metal version reference 17013 made with steel and 18ct  gold  the 36 mm case holds the  early and very desirable dial simply signed Oysterquartz from the early production run from circa 1978,the later watches had the additional chronometer text indicated on the dial.

The watch has clearly been extremely well cared for and this is reflected in the overall condition, it is simply fantastic with all crisp angels as they should be
