Rolex Submariner 16613 rare Purple/Blue dial SOLD

Its often the unusual or unexpected that get collectors of all things excited and its exactly the same with watch collectors and particularly Rolex collectors so dials that age over time to become completely unique depending on atmospheric conditions or exposure to sunlight are very highly prized these dials are often referred to as tropical and many age to varying shades of Brown but with the normally Blue dial of the Rolex submariner collectors noticed some aging to a deep purple hue which is amazing in direct sunlight.

This particular example from 1991 is exactly such a piece and the excellent blue Tritium dial that is turning a stunning deep purple.

Equally the rest of this watch is in great condition showing very little sign of wear and having been fully serviced in our workshop this is a watch that represents a great investment opportunity whilst also being extremely easy to wear for any occasion.
