This stunning example dates to 1984 which the first appearance of this dial type and the forerunner of all modern Rolex submariners ,This model marked the end of the matt dials and introduced the white gold indices on a gloss dial although at this point Rolex still used tritium for the luminescence which as you can see in this instance has developed a lovely patina overtime, this characteristic Rolex decided to remove in later watches by adding luminova which wont develop character over time .
Hopefully our images do this watch justice and you can see the quality of the 40mm stainless steel case with near perfect lugs and equally crisp bracelet.
Whether you are a seasoned collector or just venturing into the hobby this is a watch that will delight and when quality vintage pieces like this exist with completely unique character I fail to see why people would pay ludicrous prices for a new mass produced piece.
This great watch comes complete with both inner and outer boxes, Original hang tags, Rolex oyster booklet and Rolex correct calendar card
The watch was fully serviced by vintage experts Swiss Tec in 2019 and so has the balance of there 2y/r warranty
