It’s been said many times before that no watch collection is complete without the addition of a good 5513 Submariner and this example from 1974 is a worthy candidate for any collection.
The stainless-steel case retains great definition and no signs of being over polished and the watch comes with its Rolex bracelet ref 93150 in equally great condition and full size so will fit even the larger wrist.
The serial number 3797XXX dates this piece to 1974 making it a perfect 50th birthday treat.
The serial number also confirms the dial as towards the very end of the production of the non-serif dial run.
The flawless matt black dial has the original lume which has aged to a wonderful rich deep coffee cream colour which is so highly prized and looks even better under the super dome glass.
The bezel is also original and is the desirable fat font variant. Which may have some slight signs of age and wear but has faded to a dark grey which completes the vintage 5513 look.
Mechanically the watch runs on the cal 1520 automatic movement which keep perfect time and is covered by our 12-month guarantee.
