This 200M Divers watches dates to circa 1970 and is in remarkable time warp condition, having appeared to have had very little use. Although relatively unknown the Talis watch company made very good quality watches, including a large range of diver’s watches. Unfortunately, the brand slipped in to obscurity in the 1980’s when so many Swiss Watch houses went under during the quartz revolution.
This example is in excellent condition, using a compressor style case and being 37mm ex crown it wears extremely well. The watch is great condition and has a really distinctive design much like the Omega Flightmaster and Seamaster 1000M. The bezel is the original Bakelite one and is in perfect crack free condition, the dial and hands are all original and look super, matching well and really giving the watch that vintage appeal which is so important with heritage divers.
This is an excellent everyday divers watch and is complimented with a very good quality Milanese band so is perfect for sports pursuits and office pursuits alike.
