About this watch

When you consider that Vacheron are the worlds oldest watch producer its surprising how few sports watches can be found bearing their esteemed name. The reference 6782 is one of those few, classed a sports model by way of its rotating “thunderbird “ bezel so named due to its resemblance to the Rolex thunderbird .and its waterproof case which for a Vacheron is considered quite chunky at a thickness of 12mm including glass.

This example comes with a 35mm 18ct gold case with solid gold bezel and matching gold dial, the dial shows some age elated patina depending on light conditions.

The watch is fitted to a quality padded strap finished with an 18ct gold Vacheron buckle.

Although having characteristics of a sports watch this is definitely a watch for all occasions and a really interesting piece
