This is a very rare and increasingly valuable divers watch manufactured by the famous French watch house Yema. Yema watches are becoming increasingly collectible and their chronograph range is now in the realms of Speedmasters of desirability and collectability
The value of Yema watches has skyrocketed in the last few years and non more so than the divers and Chronograph examples, Yema’s flagship diver the Sous Marine regularly commands sums in the same realms as Submariners.
This Yema diver is a true classic and in our opinion is not only a sound investment for the future but a genuinely wearable divers watch, it was designed at the time as an entry level Skin Divers watch by the company and therefore many didn’t survive, this one did and in near new old stock condition.
The watch is in time warp condition, there is no other way to describe it, the watch dates to circa 1978 and includes all the traditional dive traits from the period, It really is a gem of a watch, everything you could want from a divers watch of the 1960’s or 1970’s but in a condition which could be mistaken for being nearly new, an ideal investment and a true classic of design.
Although the stainless steel case measure only 35 mm exc crown the oversize bezel at 37 mm gives the watch a much bigger feel ,fitted to a high quality period rubber divers strap this piece wont disappoint .Running the manual wind french caliber 233-68 movement which looks like new
