I have long been a fan of the nipple dial Rolex’s although they are much more often seen on steel or bi metal watches, this solid gold example from 1973 offers a rare opportunity to purchase an excellent original example
The reference 1675/8 was produced in relatively small numbers, initially supplied on a leather strap ,This stunning root beer with its amazing bronze brown dial is sure to delight its next owner ,I will point out there is a slight flaw on the dial under the 3 minute marker but its very easily forgiven and in no way detracts from the beauty of this piece.
The gold case is in superb condition as is the bezel and the original dial has aged to a unique even matt finish which highlights the gold hour markers superbly.
The automatic movement keeps great time having been recently serviced and carries our full 12 months guarantee.
The watch is presented on a unique hand crafted green alligator strap which further enhances this unique timepiece.
