Early bubble backs remain highly prized by vintage watch enthusiast’s, and I am sure this early 1940’s example will delight its next owner, not only is it running on the highly regarded chronometer graded Tirette movement which keeps excellent time but the original solid pink gold bezel and matching stunning sector dial are very seldom seen and will attract admiring attention whenever you wear it.
The 32mm stainless steel case with solid pink gold bezel ref 2764 is in great original condition and I have just fitted it to a simple padded leather strap.
The movement is marked: ‘ROLEX PERPETUAL CHRONOMETER SWISS MADE PATENTED’ on the winding rotor, and on the surface of the movement cap: ‘TRIGGER SCREW VIS TIRETTE PATENTED’.
