I have commented a lot recently about how popular seventies style has become and I am delighted to have sourced this stunning Heuer Autavia Orange boy with the very hard to find brushed silver dial. This dial was first used in the Reference 11630 Autavia circa 1972 and makes a real statement.
Autavias remain very popular among Heuer fans and for anyone seeking an Autavia with a difference but not wanting to pay over £10,000 for a white dial Siffert this offers a very affordable alternative.
In this example the 42.5mm stainless steel case shows some minor marks from wear but more importantly retains its crisp sharp case lines. Adding to the rarity of this orange boy is the factory addition of the MH bezel which is harder to find than the more common Tachy bezel
The colouring on the orange boy is always pleasing to the eye and on the rarer silver dial it’s a very eye-catching watch. This example is fitted to a period Black Corfam sports strap and finished with a genuine Heuer Buckle.
