The 1960’s are regarded by many collectors as the golden era for Heuer due largely to the influence that Jack Heuer had on the company since he took over in 1962. The Carrera range launched just one year later in 1963 and it’s a classic design that has stood the test of time and the 36mm stainless steel case wears superbly even now.
The Career 3647 S was also commonly known as the 45 due to the marking on the minute register
This example from the mid 1960’s is in remarkable condition, the sunburst silver dial is unblemished, and it is instantly recognizable due to the simple clean design
The watch runs on the famous Valjoux 92 manual winding movement which runs perfectly with all chronograph functions working correctly and like all our pieces the movement carries a full 12-month guarantee.
Fitted to a later quality black padded strap finished with a genuine vintage Heuer steel buckle the watch comes delivered in its vintage Heuer box
