Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos clock

I am always captivated by the ingenuity of the atmos clock, simply a clock which runs without the need for any winding mechanism or external power source, brilliant even today but think back to when these where first introduced and its almost magical.

This example dates to the1960’s although you would never know as it shows very little signs of wear and performs like the day it was made.

The simple white dial is decorated with black roman numerals and blued steel hands .

The gilt case is in superb condition and the access to the levelling system and mechanism is through the opening door at the front of the case.

A great item for any home or office and a source of enjoyment for many years
