It is my sincere belief that if you are reading this then you are looking at one of the most undervalued pieces on the market currently ,Longines during the late 1950's ,when this piece was made are widely regarded to have produced some of the finest pieces in the world easily surpassing the likes of Rolex and Omega although the vintage market is still asleep on the whole . However I sense not for long.
This solid 9ct gold 33 mm gents manual wind dress watch has added collectability due to the fact the movement is the much scarcer 19.4S which has the sweeping second hand and is much harder to find on 1950's watches than the sub second dial .
Obviously a watch that has been worn during the past almost 60 years and now fitted to a new Hirsh black lizard strap and complete with Longines velvet lined box
