The Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso is possibly one of the most recognised dress watches of the century and yet although worn primarily as a dress watch today its origin couldn’t be further from that as the design was first conceived to protect the watches worn by Polo players who could simply turn the watch inwards to protect the glass whilst playing.
This example dates to around the late 1990’s and the case is constructed of stainless steel and 18k yellow gold, and measures aproximatley 39 mm x 24 mm.
The dial is golden with textured centre and radial black Roman chapters. Which reverses to a plain polished steel closed cover.
The quartz movement keeps perfect time and has had a new battery fitted.
