This really is an exceptional time capsule watch, and I could almost guarantee the next owner will never meet someone wearing the same watch and definitely not in this condition, obviously as the piece has seen very little wrist time since its manufacture in 1973 and I am delighted its been kept with the original complete Accutron box,
The tuning fork Bulova movement is a real technical achievement with Accutron being an acronym for Accuracy and Electronic offering very high precision from a tuning fork calibrated to 360Hz it was in fact so good that is was sold under licence to Omega who used it extensively in the F300 range.
The original hesalite crystal is inscribed Bulova Accutron.
The watch comes fitted to its original correct integral stainless-steel bracelet and has just had a new battery fitted and works perfectly.
This is an exceptional example and worthy of a place in any collection.
