Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos clock

I am always captivated by the ingenuity of the atmos clock, simply a clock which runs without the need for any winding mechanism or external power source, brilliant even today but think back to when these where first introduced and its almost magical.

This example dates to the mid 1980's although you would never know as it shows very little signs of wear and performs like the day it was made.

The simple gold dial is decorated with black hour markers and  hands .

The gilt case is in superb condition and the access to the levelling system and mechanism is through the opening door at the front of the case.

The atmos movement has just been professionally serviced and performs exactly as it should.

A great item for any home or office and a source of enjoyment for many years
