Vintage chronographs from the 1960’s have a great following and I am particularly fond of all things Omega so I was delighted to find this vary two register scarce reference with the stand out feature being the date window at 9 as seen in the Heuer Dato of the same period .This model was produced in only a tiny run of less than 2500 pieces around 1969 and runs on the manual wind cal 930 movement also seen in the Omega Bullhead in total only 10,000 of these movements were produced and they are always in demand.
The serial number of this piece dates it to 1969 and the cal 930 movement runs perfectly with all functions performing as they should, it is also covered by our 12 months mechanical warranty.
The last 146.017 I saw sold was y another respected UK dealer and it sold for almost £5,000 so the keen eyed will already know this is priced extremely well and this is due to the fact that at some point in its life the watch has had the dial reprinted in a style that is completely unique for this reference ,missing is the De Ville signature and I have never seen a reverse panda in this reference, all that said ,the watch is in great condition and whilst many collectors would prefer an original untouched dial I like this for what it is and if you want a terrific possibly unique Omega chronograph from 1969 at super value for money then be quick.
This piece is in stock and ready for worldwide shipping.
