Its very easy to look at iconic vintage dive watches and think they have all become unaffordable but then something comes along that offers someone a stunning watch at a very affordable price and I pleased to be able to offer one such item today.
The Seamaster 300 needs little introduction being first released in 1957 ref 2913, as part of the much-lauded Omega trilogy with some examples being sold in the tens of thousands. The ref CK14.755 came at the end of the straight lug case design before the later ref 165.014 was introduced with its radically redesigned case.
The example I have on offer dates to 1962 and has a stunning completely original dial and matching hands, the lume has aged to the desirable burnt orange, to be honest its one of the nicest dials I have seen for a while.
The movement is the correct 552 caliber (seen at the end of the 2913 production run)and has just been professionally serviced so keeps perfect time and is guaranteed for 12 months.
The 38.5 mm stainless steel case is in nice original condition and shows no signs of being badly polished in the past
All the above points to a superb watch with a price tag of circa £12,000 however two replacements parts mean that I can offer this stunning watch for much less
At some point in its life the watch has had a Later service case back fitted and the original bezel insert has been replaced although at first glance neither of these replacements are noticeable.
This piece is in stock and ready for worldwide shipping.
