The 36mm Datejust has been a firm favourite with Rolex clients for decades ,its proven to be equally at home as a dress watch or worn casually and can be worn by either ladies or gents .Possibly the most popular configuration would be 36mm stainless steel case topped with fluted solid gold bezel and crown and stainless steel and 18ct gold jubilee bracelet and I am fortunate enough to have owned many of these excellent watches however I have to say that the dial on this example really is exceptional and really does set it apart from the crowd ,the brushed blue dial has aged over the last 28 years and now when the light catches it ,it a Smokey almost metallic finish ,tropical dials on sports watches are very well reported and command significant premiums and although te process is seen right through the product range its not often you find such interesting examples in the Datejust range and I am sure this will continue to develop over the next 25 years and be an outstanding completely individual Rolex.
The 36 mm stainless steel case is in near perfect condition and very little signs of being worn and has certainly never been polished.it is also the later style with no holes through the lugs inside the case beats the improved cal3135 automatic movement which comes recently serviced and covered by our 12 months guarantee.
The watch comes complete with its original punched papers dated March 1996
This is an outstanding completely unique Rolex 16233 and I am sure it will delight its next owner.
