Rolex 16523 Zenith Daytona RESERVED

The iconic Rolex Daytona is often in the headlines for achieving record breaking high prices so it’s refreshing to be able to offer you the opportunity to own one at a more modest price point especially when it is the superb “Zenith”.

The 16523 was introduced in 1988 and brought two incredibly important changes to the Daytona, it was the very first automatic Daytona chronograph, running on a modified version of the world famous Zenith El Primero movement. It was also the first bi metal Daytona in the catalogue.

This example has a serial number S865XXX indicating a year of production of 1993 making this possibly the ultimate 30^th birthday treat.

The 40mm stainless steel case is in superb condition and is topped by the solid 18ct gold bezel which has clear engraving all round. The combination of Steel and gold case and black dial finished with gold details is a timeless classic and gives the watch a luxurious appearance, undoubtably a sports watch but dressed for any occasion!

The watch comes complete with the original stainless steel and 18ct gold jubilee bracelet which will fit up to 200mm wrist size .

The cal 3030 automatic movement has been recently serviced, keeps perfect time and carries our 12-month mechanical guarantee.

I seriously doubt a better looking or better value Zenith Daytona is available anywhere.
