The Yema watch company was founded in 1948 in Besançon (Doubs) by Henry Louis Belmont, the company distinguished itself from the outset, creating the first automatic chronometers manufactured entirely in France, and became famous for the technical qualities and sports characteristics of its watches.
Yema Chronographs are increasing in value at the moment at a similar rate to the Omega Speedmaster and most collectors tip Yema to follow the same path as Heuer .
This Yema Meangraf is a wonderful example of their sporting chronograph line dating to circa 1972. The Valjoux 7734 movement is working perfectly and all function's work as they should.
The watch is 40mm exluding the crown and wears extremely well, the case retains its original finish and is in excellent condition, likewise with the stainless steel case back. The bezel as you can see (which rotates) is in excellent condition and compliments the original factory mat black dial very well.
