This extremely rare Breilting LCD Navitimer was produced for only a couple years in circa 1978, they were Breitling’s flagship watch at the time and represented the companies innovation, a theme that has continued ever since with watches like the emergency and their collection of analogue/ digital hybrid watches.
The watch is running Breitling calibre 9406 LCD chronograph movement, all functions work as they should and the watch is in fully operation condition, including the light. The watch features a split second chronograph, time and day/date and really is on a par with watches like the famous Omega Speedmaster ‘Moonwatch’ LCD collection.
The condition of the watch is nothing short of outstanding, the case has never been refinished and have very sharp edged and factory lines, the crystal and inner rotating bezel are original and flawless and the display is perfect, it really is barely worn.
The watch is a substantial 40mm, hewn from solid stainless steel and in an identical case to the traditional Navitimer case and as such wears very well, with an excellent weight and wrist presence, a truly remarkable piece.
